Everyone deals with Covid 19 in their own way.
Some are loud, like the singers and the pots and pan noise makers, giving support to essential workers.
Some folks stay quiet in their homes in an effort to minimize risks to others and themselves.
In our community we’re limited to local access of groceries, pharmacy and healthcare, so decisions to access these essential services are very planned.
The Pharmacists have a program to keep requests for prescriptions filled while protecting their employees.
The Healthcare for non-emergency has accepted virtual appointments.
The grocery store has developed a safe and respectful way to give customers daily access by restricting flow and keeping contact between customers and staff to a minimum.
It takes a lot of effort for all our businesses to stay open for us.
To help out at this time Fenelon Falls Curling Club offered to lend a hand. So when a customer could not shop for themselves in the store nor leave their home for safety reasons, a volunteer list was offered to Sobeys and groceries delivered with safe protocols.
When there became a need to support lineups with physical distancing at the entrance to Sobeys , a volunteer list was once again set up.
We are all working through this pandemic as best we can, supporting one another and bringing hope to our community.
We are confident our awesome town of Fenelon Falls will continue to work together to rejuvenate , rebuild and rekindle our town spirit.
Thanks to each and every one of you for doing your part.
